NoLimit opens its doors to new member applications
New memberships activate December 1, 2025. We would like to invite your organization to join.
Since the October launch, more than 200 companies, organizations, and institutions have asked for more information about the foundation. The response to our mission, an Ethernet network designed specifically for AI and HPC workloads at high performance and scale, has been enthusiastic and, frankly, larger than we planned for.
To handle that level of interest responsibly, the steering committee has decided to phase membership application processing. A project of this size needs real operational capacity to onboard members well, and we want every new member to be able to contribute productively from the day they join rather than waiting in a queue.
The foundation will host an orientation event at SC25 in St. Louis, with remote access available, where new members are announced and become formal participants in the organization.
Onboarding timeline
- October 30: outreach to organizations that expressed interest. The membership agreement package is available on the Membership page.
- November 10: deadline for completed agreements to be included in SC25 activities.
- November 14: in-person orientation schedule published.
- November 16: SC25 announcements and in-person community sessions.
- December 1: new memberships fully activated and onboarded into working groups.
- After December 1: new members continue to be onboarded on a rolling basis.
Submitted agreements are reviewed by the steering committee. Questions about the membership package, including legal questions, can go to membership@nolimit.foundation. Please note that every member signs the same agreement, so redlines cannot be accommodated.
Everyone who participates must complete a short orientation before joining the technical working groups or accessing foundation documents. That includes required antitrust training, an overview of policies and procedures, and a general briefing on the development initiatives. The first sessions take place during SC25, with virtual participation available for those not attending the conference. New members will continue to be onboarded on an ongoing basis after that.
Where to find us
We will be at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose in mid-October, and at SC25 in St. Louis in November in the standards pavilion. If you have questions about joining, come and find us at either event, or use Reach Out.
