NoLimit welcomes 40 new industry leaders
The NoLimit Foundation is pleased to welcome 40 more companies since January. The expansion strengthens our collective expertise and resources and moves us closer to delivering an Ethernet-based, open, interoperable, high-performance, full-stack architecture. With this breadth of industry leaders and innovators at the table, we are better equipped to meet the network demands of AI and HPC at scale.
The new members include Astera Labs, Auradine, Beijing Wangxun Technology, Cadence Design Systems, Graphcore, Internet Initiative Japan, Intellectual Highway, IP Infusion, Kiwimoore, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Lenovo, Lightmatter, LinkData Technology, Los Alamos National Laboratory, MangoBoost, Micron Technology, Molex, Numascale, NVIDIA, Pure Storage, Qualcomm, Qumulo, Rivos, Sandia National Laboratories, Stelia, Sudo Information Technology, UfiSpace, VDURA, and Zenosic Semiconductor, bringing total membership to 97. Backed by the steering members, AMD, Arista, Broadcom, Cisco, Eviden, HPE, Intel, Meta, Microsoft, and Oracle, the foundation continues to lead the development of an Ethernet-based communication stack for high-performance networking.
The range of names on this list, drawn from across the technology industry, underscores how significant the work is. It is a very real problem to solve, and having this variety of expertise can only improve the architecture.

As we move closer to finalizing 1.0, many details have come into focus. We recently shared a detailed look at what the initial release will include.
Upcoming events
We will be at ISC High Performance in Hamburg in June and at the OCP Global Summit in San Jose in October. If you are interested in the foundation, its working groups, or any related initiative, we look forward to connecting with you there.
New alliances
The foundation is proud to announce alliances with the Open Compute Project, the Storage Networking Industry Association, and the OpenFabrics Alliance, and a liaison with IEEE 802.3. These partnerships strengthen our commitment to advancing Ethernet by working alongside the organizations driving innovation in hardware, storage, and networking standards.
